I think a pristine car is worth the extra $$. See if it sits on the lot for a while, show up with cash in hand, and you could probably talk it down a bit. #1 would make a good fixer, but I'm not sure you could sell it for a whole lot more than the $5k purchase price. The alignment/pull issue is most likely a bad tension rod bushing. Caster and camber are not adjustable as delivered from the factory, so this is not an issue that an "alignment" will fix, but replacing the tension rod bushings most likely will.
